FUHU MAKES A BIG SPLASH FOR ITS BIG TAB AT CES
Fuhu came to ACME with big dreams of doing a three suites at CES, to introduce their Big Tablet and other products.
The Nabi Big Tab is a fully-featured large-size interactive touchscreen that kids and families can use for learning, entertainment and games.
The first suite was fitted to show invited guests to the Nabi Big tab. The room was lined with huge graphics, and six vignettes were built to give the feel of a modern home. Big Tabs were seamlessly integrated into to the office, game room and bedroom vignettes.
The second suite was built out for Amplicity, whose launch-product is a grab & go microcomputer. ACME built additional vignettes representing a gamer’s room, coffee shop, and a city park. Over 2,000 square feet of vivid, high resolution graphics ringed the room. Two prototype privacy pods were built and tested, letting guests test Amplicity’s computer in a coffee shop environment. ACME also integrated a cutting edge, interactive projector system into the entry space.
A prototype store-in-store was built into the third suite, with high-end merchandise counters, vivid backlit branding, and over 120 lineal feet of theme graphics. Fuhu was able to show big-box retailers what its store-in-store would actually look like.
In total, more than 10,000 sq. ft. of graphics were printed for the three suites.
ACME completed the whole project, three truckloads of material, from raw design to finished product, in 5 weeks.
